What's Different?

Hey there gamers! I changed the blog up a bit and maybe you guess should check it out! Yes I will be making posts like these every time something has changed... WAIT~!! I can make Saturday my "What's Different?" Post!!! ^-^ Yay~

Anyways! We finally had our new admin, Roxas, post something for once! The post should be right below this. If not, just search for it. He is an awesome gamer and I believe you guys will like it! We are still waiting for the other admin. Apparently he has no idea how to post so.. He won't post til someone shows him to.

Moving on! I also posted a post the has my schedule on in which I will re-post every... 3 months because I usually come up with new ideas for what to post about every 3 months but since I came up with something in... a day.... I'll just update it and no re-post. Please check it out and not your calendars for my post if you want to! ^-^

Going on! Our other admin, Tennie, has posted a rant about a game on the App store. Yes she will be the one talking about game on the App store while I do the ones that or on consoles like the Xbox, PS3, Wii, WiiU, etc. You get the point right? Good^-^ 

Out of the post genre. I have added a new page called "FAQ" so we can prevent spam from the same questions being asked over and over again for the future. If you have any questions, concerns, or a problem, please comment here or on the FAQ and that question will be answered ASAP. 

I also updated the About the Gamers page! I added stuff to my about me because it thought my first try at it was very stupid. I added very informational info to there so you should check it out if you wanna know about the "big boss" *~Ahri-chan~*

Monday

On Monday, we shall have my usual Rant of the Week(RotW) post. RotW is basically a post that has me talking about a game that I think is crap! I usually find tons of games amazing but sometimes, I find others very... bad. Some of the game I might post about will be game that I sort of like and some I sort of don't. I know a few days ago I posted one about Minecraft even thought I said I loved it. Well!! If you look now, I changed the title to what it says on Wednesday that I shall explain.....SOON!!

Tuesday

On Tuesday, I shall be posting on a different blog which can be found here. On my photo, it says "Music Post" which give the idea of that post I just linked is a music blog. This blog happens to be a blog that I share with one of the admins here, Tennie. Her and I have been on that blog for a while now. If you love this blog(which is very unlikely), you should check out that blog! ^-^ On to the next day...

Wednesday

On Wednesday, we shall have a new post I shall start called Game of the Month Nominee(GotMN). I know on the photo, it's spelled incorrectly. It is because I ran out of space and I use a very crappy photo editor -cough cough- Paint -cough cough- And basically for this, everyone should now about my Monthly Game of the Month(GotM) posts that I do once a month. Now! I shall be doing some nominee's for the games. And if we get more viewers into our site, I'll let you guys choose who shall win! But for now, I shall talk to Tennie, Roxas, and Kiba on which should win^_^ and since I switched it up, NO NOVEMBER GOTM!!! Sorry. I wanna try this new system out^_^ GOING ON!!

On Friday, we shall have The Gamers' Game Log(TGGL. It's to close to TGIF XD). Here, we might have everyone's game log on what they played this week. If they don't do it... WEEEELLLL.... They don't blog on that post for the week. What TGGL is mainly about is that all of us gamers on this blog will make a small post on what we played for the week and how our game experience on the game was like. Got it? Good^-^! 

Saturday

On Saturday, we shall have What's Different? Weekly Updates. Here is where I inform all of you about new posts, new pages, page changes, etc. This will be also where I shall add in what might happen like if someone can't post for a week or if we have a new admin(which in unlikely), etc. You get the point right? Right. This, like all the other posts, will be once a week. This post has a 100% chance, unlike the other posts. on being posted every week since this is a very important post.

Hi guys. [This is my first blog post. ...Yay Tennie-chan. 8U]
So, the game I'm posting about today is... *drumroll please* Angry Gran!
This is the original 'Angry Gran'. Not 'Angry Gran Run' or anything.
(I see so much 'Angry Gran' that 'Angry Gran' doesn't even seem like a phrase anymore... Well, that's just fine and dandy, brain. *ragequit/table flip*)

Anyways. As stated, the developer of this app/game is AceViral.com, and their website is here.

The point of this game is to beat up people with your weapon of choice (pan, Christmas tree, inflatable hammer, a baguette, a rubber chicken, and more) and take their money. It's really a game of timing and... Precision.
You tap the screen of your iDevice/Android to swing the weapon you've chosen or started out with at the passerbys or objects - anything but the policeman.
(Policeman? What policeman?) He arrests you if you hit him with your weapon, which is like in-game probation for a short period of time.
You either hit the people or the objects. There are two different kinds of people, the commoners (I honestly don't remember what they're called) and the aristocrats (the rich people). You hit both. Just no one in a police outfit.
Also, there are boxes for you to hit. Boxes, telephone booths, trees, benches, water fountains, and more.

When I had it on my iPhone (3GS, which is so slow I could probably die of impatience), it was slightly like an anger management reliever.

About the Game:

Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson and later developed and published by Mojang. It was publicly released for the PC on May 17, 2009, as a developmental alpha version and, after many gradual updates, was published as a full release version on November 18, 2011. A version for Android was released a month earlier on October 7, and an iOS version was released on November 17, 2011. On May 9, 2012, the game was released on Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade game, co-developed by 4J Studios. All versions of Minecraft receive frequent updates.

The creative and building aspects of Minecraft allow players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, gathering resources, crafting and combat. Gameplay in its commercial release has two principal modes: survival, which requires players to acquire resources and maintain their health and hunger; and creative, where players have an unlimited supply of resources, the ability to fly, and no health or hunger. Back to my minecraft commentary...

I got sooooo addicted to this game after I knew my boyfriend played it.
After a while, I thought, "Hmm... Why don't I go back and play with him?"
So I did and now this is why I'm ranting about it.

People hate this game sooo much because of the graphics.... Hello people!
That's the point of the game!! The point of minecraft is the bad graphics and the "boxy-ness"
Minecraft is a very popular game. Youtubers like PewDiePie, Tobuscus, etc. has played this game before.
That's why it's so famous. 

What is amazing about the multiplayer in Minecraft is you can make amazing games on there.
Like hunger games, Capture the Flag, etc. I think that is amazing.
VERY amazing.

Think about it. A game with bad graphics, about just building, and has no exact story line is one of the best games ever!
Now isn't that a really good achievement?! That is like a miracle!!!

Minecraft can be a pain in the ass when it just doesn't follow what you want. Like the wood looks to crappy and blah blah blah. But It can turn out really good at the end.

Let's talk about some really good Texture packs for this game.

Haha, hi guys. I'm Tennie (short for Tenten, the 'weapons mistress' in Naruto. <3), your other admin that's going to rant on games you can in the App Store and such. Free games on your computer. Things like that.

About the game:

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is the fourth expansion set for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Cataclysm. It was announced on October 21, 2011, by Chris Metzen at BlizzCon 2011, and will be released on September 25, 2012.

Mists of Pandaria will raise the existing level cap from level 85 to 90. It will introduce a new character class, the Monk, along with a new playable race, the Pandaren. The vanity pet system will be overhauled and will include a pet battle system. New PVE scenarios will be introduced, and Challenge Modes will be added for dungeons. The existing 41-point talent trees will be replaced by a new system of tiered talents that are awarded every 15 levels. Blizzard has stated that there are plans for nine new dungeons, three new raids, and four new battlegrounds.

The game is set after the events of Deathwing and the Cataclysm. The major setting is the titular land of Pandaria, one of the continents of the world of Azeroth. Discovery of Pandaria is made after a naval battle between the Horde and the Alliance. It had previously been hidden by magic since The Sundering, only to resurface.

So lately, I saw the list of what Blizz took out and put in for MoP.
I got pissed! I also got kinda happy but mainly mad!
Well they took away relics... DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK FOR ME TO GET THE RELIC I HAVE CURRENTLY?! IT TOOK A WHILE IF YOU NEVER KNEW!
They also took away hunter melee weapons.. I spent forever trying to get the current weapon I have now.
They also added this "pet arena" thing... You basically make your companion fight...
WTF! BLIZZARD!! DID YOU RUN OUT OF IDEAS?!
You did huh? Expected.. 
I'm not planning on getting this game... No thanks! I pass!
It will be yet another fail expansion just like cata..

About the Game:

 To the Moon is the fourth video game by Kan "Reives" Gao and the first commercial production by his indie game development team Freebird Games. Released in November 2011, it is a role-playing adventure game designed using the RPG Maker engine. The game was also officially translated into German. Other translation projects are in the works.
The premise of To The Moon is based around a technology that allows the construction of artificial permanent memories. Sigmund Corp., a company that uses this technology, offers the notion of "wish fulfillment" as a service to people on their death bed. Since these artificial memories are permanent, it sharply conflicts with the patient's real memories soon after the person awakens, which is why it is only done on those without much longer to live.

The story follows Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts—employed by Sigmund Corp.—as they fulfill the lifelong dream of the dying Johnny Wyles. Johnny's wish is simple: he wants to go to the moon; however he doesn't know why. To accomplish this task, the doctors must insert themselves into an interactive compilation of his memories and traverse backwards through his life via mementos. With each leap to an important moment in his mind, they learn more about the patient and what brought him to his current position in life. Upon reaching his childhood, the doctors attempt to insert his desire to go to the moon. The intention is that once the desire is implanted, Johnny's mind will create memories of a new life based on that desire, and he'll die believing he lived without any regrets.

But not everything goes as planned. The two doctors find themselves with a heavy mystery concerning Johnny's desire, his past, and his deceased wife, River. With the clock ticking, Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts must unravel Johnny's complicated past and do whatever it takes to send him to the moon.

I have to say this game is really depressing! It made me cry!!
And not just a little bit, but a lot!! It's that sad!
How I discovered this game was from the one and only "PewDiePie"
I was watching play play through from beginning to end! I loved it that much~!
The game really did get to me. I really wanted to cry and cry.
But I only cried half of the tears that wanted to come out. xP
Anyways, I really want you guys to check this game out!
It has tons of puzzles, it has romance, time travel, comedy, all that!!
It's amazing! The graphic might be like pokemon, but I like it anyways!
Check the video out and I hope you guys enjoy the game and this commentary!
